Solar Panels are a non-polluting source of energy that can reduce your energy bill by up to 80%. Having solar installed at your home will not only help you save on your energy costs, but it will also have a positive effect on the environment.
The process to have solar panels installed for your home is super simple:
Give us a call or send us an email, we will look at your roof to determine the size of your system based on how many panels will fit on your roof and provide you with a quote. We can also include a cost saving analysis, if provided with a recent electricity bill. We will submit a Connection Application with Ausgrid and notify your energy provider. Typically, the installation process will take two days. Good quality solar panels will last you up to 25 years!
Once your system is set up, we will test everything to make sure it is working and compliant. You will be able to monitor your up-to-date system energy production on your smartphone.
The Australian federal ‘solar rebate’ acts as a point-of-sale discount off the final cost of your solar power system installation. The subsidy varies based on the size of your system. If your panels produce more electricity than what is being consumed, the excess is exported to the electricity grid. Your electricity retailer will pay you with a small deduction on your bill for each kilowatt-hour (kWh) of electricity exported – usually around 7 to 12 cents per kWh.
You only need to get your system tested and cleaned once in a while, as recommended by the Clean Energy Council (CEC).
